THE BAPTIST GENERAL STATE CONVENTION OF IL. Dr. Mark Allen McConnell, Th. D. is the second of six children born to the union of Deacon Johnnie and Sister Jimmie Mae McConnell who have gone on to Glory. He is married to First Lady Paris E. McConnell and they have three sons; Mark Allen Moses McConnell, Caleb Allen Mark McConnell and Matthew Allen McConnell.

CONGRESS OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: The 2025 Congress of Christian Education will be held August 4–8 at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in Downers Grove, IL. We encourage you to pre-register, whether you plan to pay in advance or on-site. The annual Course Booklet and Registration Form are now available.
