THE BAPTIST GENERAL STATE CONVENTION OF IL. Dr. Mark Allen McConnell, Th. D. is the second of six children born to the union of Deacon Johnnie and Sister Jimmie Mae McConnell who have gone on to Glory. He is married to First Lady Paris E. McConnell and they have three sons; Mark Allen Moses McConnell, Caleb Allen Mark McConnell and Matthew Allen McConnell.

ANNUAL SESSION: Thank you for your support of the Christian Education Department of our convention. The program for the 2023 Congress of Christian Education can be found HERE.

CONGRESS OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: The 2023 Congress of Christian Education will be held at the Embassy Suites in East Peoria, Illinois, from August 7th-11th. Registration can be paid through Givelify, or on-site. Please use THIS LINK to secure your hotel reservation.

FALL BOARD MEETING: The 2023 Fall Board Meeting will be held October 23-25, held at the Riverview Inn & Suites in Rockford, IL. Hotel registration information will be available June 9, 2023.
